Yep, that's what I have been spending some time on rather than writing for Steamhawke. Sorry.
I have done some pixel art work of course, so doesnt it make perfect sense to enjoy painting miniatures for board games? We have been playing Descent (again, it took away time from Steamhawke), and there are this incredibly detailed miniature 'pawns' or play pieces. They are a joy to paint. I use this eensyweensie tiny brush, and NO MAGNIFYING GLASS, as that distorts where I think the brush is going to land...
At 40+ my eyesight is not as good as when I was 6, but my close-up eyesight was always freaksishly good at that age. And my eyesight has improved since I started painting! Training, and all that.
